Join a Rated 4-Stars and 4.5-Stars wine of the month club
Solid quality and a focus on great customer service make these wine clubs the perfect choice for anyone looking to invest in a monthly wine club.
Overview: California is home to some of the world's best wine regions and wineries, many of which are boutique wineries (wine jargon for small wineries with little-to-no distribution). This wine of the month club is a great way to get introduced to what California wine has to offer at reasonable prices. This wine club makes an excellent gift.
What We Love: Consistency. We've been receiving their shipments for months and we've never had a wine we didn't like. You can't really ask for more than that from a wine club.
Could Be Better: We don't have any suggestions for what to improve within the Gold Series wine club. Yay!
Overview: Rosé is heavily hyped in the Spring (when the pink stuff hits the bottles) and in the Summer (because who doesn't love sipping on Rosé when it's hot out), but did you know Rosé goes great with all of your lighter meals the rest of the year, too? Dress up a salad, some poultry, or fish with a pink rosé. This club ships two bottles every other month.
What We Love: Rosé is a go-to wine around here because it's so versatile with food and light enough to sip on before dinner, too. As this is the only 100% rosé wine club we know of, we love that they know how awesome rosé is, too!
Could Be Better: We'd love to see this club delivered monthly and in larger quantities... two bottle just doesn't seem like enough! It is the perfect amount for a wine club gift, though...
Overview: One of our favorite International wine clubs and one of our favorite Vinesse wine clubs, too. Each shipment contains six wines which introduce you to a new wine region — there are many clubs that do this, but not with six bottles and helpful tasting notes that tell you when it's time to drink your adventures in a bottle. A really fun wine club!
What We Love: Consistent quality and excellent "discovery" club enhances your wine knowledge and expands your palate.
Could Be Better: We'd love it customers were rewarded for ordering the bigger shipments. "Buy more save more" would be great!
Overview: Sometimes you want bubbly, sometimes you want rosé, and with this club you can get both. There aren't many sparkling wine clubs and this is the only wine club we know of that promises rosé in every shipment.
What We Love: A very female-focused brand. The wine industry is dominated by men and men predominantly start companies... this is a business that from the ground up is thinking about how women want to interact with their wine clubs. Which is great, because women represent 70% of buyers in the U.S.
Could Be Better: As wine clubs go, the options are pretty limited. They only offer monthly shipments and 2-bottle packages.
Overview: Wine tasting is a most beloved pastime, particularly among wine enthusiasts, and casual wine drinkers, too. With good reason! Why drink only one kind of wine when you can sample three different kinds? This wine club brings the wine tasting flight experience to your home at an affordable monthly price — and the wines are interesting!
What We Love: The wines have been excellent and unusual. The International selection is really discovery-oriented and we really dig the packaging — especially those impressive glass vials.
Could Be Better: They've already done the two things we wished for most — give you a discount when you order two boxes a month and offer full-size bottles of your favorite wines in their wine shop (you must be a logged-in customer to access this feature).
Overview: One of our favorite wine of the month clubs from Vinesse, this Light & Sweet club is the perfect choice for so many wine drinkers in America who prefer fruity and sweeter wines to drier styles. If you are someone, or know someone, who loves wines like Moscato, Riesling and Gewurtraminer, sign up for this wine club because it's the only one like it out there in the wine club universe.
What We Love: We strongly support all niche wine clubs. The taste of wine is subjective and we think everyone should drink what they love.
Could Be Better: We'd love to see customers rewarded for buying bigger allotments. "Buy more save more" would be great!
Overview: This is a 12-bottle personalized wine club. The personalization starts with the "tasting kit" but is really most impacted by the ratings you provide to wines you receive as full-size bottles. At $14/bottle, this is a convenient way to get your everyday wine delivered.
What We Love: Their best feature is total control of your account online without having to contact customer service — change the contents of your shipment, change your shipment size, have your next shipment sent exactly when you want it, or even cancel online.
Could Be Better: The wines offered in the $6.95 tasting kit have extreme profiles (likely the best way to identify the boundaries of your palate) but the experience is fun anyway. It's important to note: rating the wine triggers the first full-price case to be shipped.
Overview: A six or 12-bottle wine subscription geared toward occasional drinkers who don't want to spend a lot on their wine. An International selection with a good variety of wines and wine regions.
What We Love: There isn't anything Martha Stewart does that isn't beautiful, and the branding and experience of this wine subscription program are no exception to that rule.
Could Be Better: While we really enjoyed the white wines we received, the reds left much to be desired.

Overview: If you or some you know loves California wine, this is the perfect wine club to join (or send as a gift). Each month you'll get two bottles of hand-picked wines from some of California's best boutique wineries (small production wineries that usually don't have widespread distribution). You'll discover the hidden corners of California's wine country and enjoy gems from prominent regions, too.
What We Love: When it comes to places to find deals on wine, we often look to The California Wine Club. Not only do they start with great prices on their Premier Series wines, but they also have fantastic discounts after the shipments have gone out.
Could Be Better: The California Wine Club now regularly offers introductory discounts, and that makes this wine club a better value while still delivering fantastic quality. It's now as perfect as it's going to be!
Overview: Tired of ho-hum wines but not sure where to start? Try this wine club! The Plonk wine clubs have always been among our favorites because of the proprietor's preference for quirky but delectable wines made from grapes and regions you've never heard of (and some you have). Whether you choose two, four, or twelve bottles you'll be glad you picked Plonk. With this white wine club you actually get (two or four) different white wines in each shipment.
What We Love: This is a truly unique wine club with a bonus bottle on sign-up and a focus on Natural Wine (organic/biodynamic) that travels the world hunting for your next wine deal.
Could Be Better: Nothing. We're pretty stoked about these guys.
