Wine of the Month Clubs $30 per bottle or more

Looking for premium wine? Use our reviews to find a wine of the month club or wine subscription that delivers wine over $30.

Looking for wine that costs more than $30 per bottle? This is a great place to start. Did you know that one of the best ways to shop for premium wine is to buy it through a wine club or a wine subscription? In addition to hard-to-find selections, most wine clubs offer a satisfaction guarantee for the wines they sell you — we're guessing your local wine store does not.

Whether you're looking for a regular shipment of great Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, grower Champagne, or a mix of wines from around the world, we've got you covered. Our ratings system looks at quality-to-price ratio, shipping costs, uniqueness, and custom features. Wherever possible, prices include shipping costs, but rarely include sales tax.

Overview: For the wine connoisseur with a penchant for California wines, this wine of the month club is a sure thing. One of our most favorite wine clubs, the boutique gems delivered by The California Wine Club are ready to drink or can be cellared, but the real reason to join is the benefit of being a member of The California Wine Club — best-in-class customer service with your own personal wine consultant, a top-tier satisfaction guarantee, and discounts on reorders of your favorites (if they're still available).

What We Love: They reward volume purchasing! If you can afford it, by upgrading to the 4-bottle per shipment program you can save up to $13 per bottle.

Could Be Better: We have very little we feel The California Wine Club could do to improve. The prices sometimes feel a bit high, but when you factor in all of the benefits of membership, including a satisfaction guarantee, we still feel like you get what you pay for here.

You'll discover the hidden corners of California's wine country and enjoy gems from prominent regions, too.

by GrapeSeed Wine

Overview: Grapeseed Wine started out as a way to have customers help fund one-time wine productions by acclaimed winemakers, but now it's a premium wine club, too. Get preferred pricing on all of their new releases and enjoy helping stellar winemakers stretch their winemaking creativity.

What We Love: We're big fans of any group that has exclusive wines because they produced them (as opposed to buying out a full production of someone else's wine)

Could Be Better: We'd like to see more options available, particularly for gifting, but also for delivery frequency. We're looking forward to the next release of Grapeseed wines to augment the selection.

by Uncorked Ventures

Overview: Uncorked Ventures focuses on California, Oregon, and Washington wines and delivers high-quality selections from small-production wineries. This is their mid-level club featuring ultra-premium wines from the smallest productions. When you're ready to discover some of the best wine available from U.S. producers and don't want to decide for yourself which wines are worth the money before you buy, try this wine club.

What We Love: We're quite impressed with most of the past selections from Uncorked Ventures, especially as they include some of our favorite West Coast wine-growing regions.

Could Be Better: We'd love to see more content on their website to talk about their wine-selection process, some of the awesome stories from the road, and even their monthly newsletter.

by Gold Medal Wine Club

Overview: A lot of wines (and wine clubs) call themselves "super premium," but most of them fail to live up to the hype. This quarterly wine club features true luxury wines rated 93+ and finds wines so exclusive that the club is limited to 500 members. This is collector-level access without the hassle of doing your own research.

What We Love: For a wine club that picks out such excellent wine, they don't need to be so customer-friendly on their extra features... but they are! We can't help but love their attention to detail.

Could Be Better: We don't have any suggestions for what to improve within the Diamond Series wine club. Yay!

Exclusive Deal! WineClubReviews.net customers save 10% on all wine subscription gifts. Use coupon code BESTWINE.

Overview: Bordeaux is famous for huge price tags associated with their Premier Cru wines (those preferred by Napolean himself), but Bordeaux is a big region and there are many wonderful producers of less-expensive Bordeaux wines. This club focuses on these growers and ships every other month.

What We Love: Who doesn't love getting world-class Bordeaux wine at bargain prices? While Bordeaux often fetches upwards of $80 a bottle, these other Bordeaux wines delight at just $25 a bottle.

Could Be Better: We'd love to see this club delivered monthly and in larger quantities... two bottle just doesn't seem like enough! It is the perfect amount for a wine club gift, though...
