The best reasons to do this include: consider it a trial run, you'll know after a few months if you like it enough to become an ongoing member; pay less for your membership, most clubs offer discount starting at 3 or 4 months for a prepaid subscription and sometimes offer free shipping; keep discovering new wine, by intentionally rotating through short-term memberships, you can try more approaches to wine drinking until you find your sweet spot.
