How to get wine delivered in Oklahoma
Whether you are shipping to yourself, a friend, a colleague, or a family member, you must purchase alcohol and have it mailed by an entity with a valid liquor license.
As a non-licensee it is never legal for you to ship alcohol yourself in the United States, much less to OK residents.
Wine may be delivered Oklahoma via FedEx, UPS, or other private shippers, but the USPS does not permit the shipping of alcohol of any kind. These types of services deliver wine to OK:
- Wine Clubs ship to Oklahoma
- Wine Gifts delivered to Oklahoma
- Wine delivered to Oklahoma via FedEx or UPS
- Same-day wine delivery in Oklahoma
- Wineries who deliver to Oklahoma
FYI: I find great wine deals so you don’t have to. To keep me on the hunt, I earn a commission when you buy wine based on my recommendations.

Did you know? In Oklahoma, outdated wine shipping laws going back to Prohibition are still in place, impeding or outright preventing interstate shipping of certain wines from retailers directly to consumers. The wine you personally can buy is limited by these outdated laws. The links above will get you to wines who can deliver to you, but which wines they are allowed to send you may be limited by these laws. Want more choices? Dry Communities: A dry community is one in which sales (or delivery) of alcoholic beverages are prohibited. A “dry” community is one in which sales (or delivery) of alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Oklahoma does not have any dry communities.
The State of Oklahoma allows wineries outside of Oklahoma to deliver wine to Oklahoma households via Common Carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc.). These companies must obtain the ABLE Direct Wine Shipper Permit (among other requirements). There is an annual limit of 6 cases per producer per OK resident. All direct-shipped wine is subject to a $0.19 per liter wine excise tax (a standard bottle of wine is 0.750L) with sparkling wine set higher at $0.55 per liter, in addition to any applicable sales taxes. Someone 21 years old or older must be available to sign for the package upon delivery.
Buyer beware. While we do our best to make it easy to find wine that can be delivered to your state, each winery and retailer is the final say in whether they will ship to consumers. Those that do so without a permit often disclose on their site in the Terms of Service, Legal, or Shipping pages that you are responsible for obeying the laws of your state, not the retailer.
