Get Wine in Cans — Split (187mL)
Wine comes in a variety of sizes and packages these days. While we think of the 750mL glass bottle as "the standard," the reality is that people have different wants and needs, so more winemakers are embracing packaging diversity — especially better winemakers.
This page is all about 187mL wines, also known as a split. When you order a single serving of wine in a restaurant, this is the most common size and it is 1/4 of a regular bottle of wine.
Other alternative small sizes include: 250mL (one-third of a bottle), 375mL (half-bottle, also called a Demi), 500mL (two-thirds). They are commonly bottled in glass, plastic, and increasingly, cans and tetra-packs.
